Last week our Superintendent, Brad Coleman, and 3 people from the Greens staff headed down to Pebble Beach to help get the course set up for the AT&T Tournament. This was not only a great way to help those out in our industry, but also a chance for our greens staff to see how Pebble Beach sets up a golf course for a PGA tour event. It was a great experience for the team and plan on doing more in the future.

During the morning hours they raked bunkers and in the afternoons filled divots. Pebble Beach has over 100 bunkers and many of them are large. So raking them took some time and gave our staff an appreciation of the smaller bunkers we have at San Jose Country Club. Pictured below is the SJCC Greens staff at Pebble Beach.
